The fine weather allowed me to take a few rudimentary pictures of most of the existing Prussians in the 30mm SYW range, and these are now uploaded to accompany the entries in the shop. For some reason I forget to prep a musketeer drummer with stain, so he will have to follow later.
The detailing is picked out using Coat D’arms Super Shader, by far the easiest means I’ve found of showing off sculpting detail. It also matts the shine of a metal figure ready for photography.
Huzzah! Miniatures are still not officially launched but they are available to buy and are cast to order.
I still have the first fusiliers to prep to make a production mould. However, Janet’s illness still takes up a lot of my time and the mould is not currently a priority.
I will be holding the price at a very reasonable 70p per foot figure for the foreseeable future.
What has been the progress of your 30mm SYW line? Thanks – Hal
Hal, Work on the line has been suspended while I deal with my wife’s illness. She is now recuperating, however, and I am beginning to get back on top of things, to the extent of alerting the sculptor that I hope to have more briefs for him soon. I still need to clean up the castings to make the first fusiliers mould, but mould-making for Helion and Eagle has taken priority.
